The Story of Stretch Metal
A textile unlike any other — real metal chain, knitted to move with the body.
In her Los Angeles atelier, Natalia Fedner spent years perfecting a patented textile: fine metal chain, hand-knitted into fabric that stretches six ways and molds to the wearer. It is jewelry, armor, and second skin at once.
Every piece begins as raw chain — gold, silver, gunmetal — and is shaped entirely by hand. No two are exactly alike.
Metal should not move like this. And yet it does.— Notes from the atelier

Worn on the Red Carpet
From Esquire covers to stadium stages — the pieces icons reach for.
Charlize Theron wore the mermaid gown on the cover of Esquire. Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, and Doja Cat have all chosen Natalia Fedner metal for moments the world was watching.
These are not costumes. They are couture engineered for the spotlight — and made to be worn.
When the light hits the chain, the whole room turns.— Backstage, fashion week

The Atelier
Made to order in Los Angeles — one piece at a time.
There are no assembly lines here. Each garment is knitted, linked, and finished by hand in the Melrose Avenue atelier, often over weeks of work.
Made-to-measure and custom colorways are available on request — a couture process for a couture textile.
Luxury is time, made visible.— The atelier wall
